Undeterred, Alex and Maya ventured deeper into the cave, using their flashlights to navigate the way. After what seemed like hours of walking, they stumbled upon a room filled with ancient artifacts and a small chest in the center of the room. Thinking on their feet, they tossed some of the treasure at the hunters and ran in the opposite direction. The hunters were distracted by the treasure, giving Alex and Maya enough time to escape from the cave and make their way back home safely.
